ABOUT
Aloha, my name is Theresa, also known as my Hawaiian name of Keleka. I grew up in San Luis Obispo, California and graduated with a BA in Visual and Public Art from California State University-Monterey Bay. I have been traveling to the Hawaiian Islands my entire life, finding inspiration in their culture, music and island life. I love Hawaiian music, reggae, country, the ocean, and everything islands! I grew up on many beaches including Shell Beach, Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, in California, the Jersey shore, Ormond Beach, Florida, and the Hawaiian Island beaches. I consider the Big Island as my second home. I have been in advertising and marketing for the past 20 years.
I am now following my passion for art, design, and decorating. As an inspirational artist, I have found great pleasure in inspiring others to follow their dreams. I would love to share the Aloha spirit with you through my hand-crafted collection of Hawaiian/Tropical custom-made flameless candles from Keleka Designs. The beach, sunsets, tropical lifestyle, yoga, meditation and the rhythm of the ocean inspire my designs.
